One of the things that brought much pain to us both were the periods I was unable to visit during Covid. At the same time, I had respect for the hospital wards like Jude’s where most patients had little or no immunity.
I decided to spoil Jude on her Birthday 16th November 2020. I got a themed cake made and all our friends & family sent cards & presents. I was able to drop them in. So glad to see the doctors and nurses also tucking into a slice !!
Sweet memories, it was to be her last official birthday but now she is birthday free living in paradise for eternity, thank you LORD xx.
Father, thankyou that Jude was able to celebrate her birthday even in difficult circumstances whilst receiving chemotherapy.
And yet I am reminded that the most important, “Birth date”, was her, “Second birth” on Saturday 8th June 1991 when she experienced being, “Born Again”, her sins forgiven, a new life in Christ…….and eternal life!!.
Father, I pray for those outside of Christ who are reading this prayer that they too will experience this special birthday.
