Made Whole!

“…..and the angels carried Him to Abrahams’s side” Luke 16:22b

Some things are considered too holy to share and this page certainly reflects that.

On Wednesday 25th August I was reading the Psalms and was struck by the following verses. Later that day I shared them with Jude.

“Thou will shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Ps16:11

“As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness.” Ps17:15

On Monday 30th August the following verse was clear:

“My times are in Thy Hand……..” Ps31:15a

We continued to pray for God’s mighty hand of deliverance from Leukemia but as the days progressed Jude was becoming very tired. We continued to, “Wait on The LORD” Ps27:14.

There are times in our lives, even though it is hard to accept, that God does things differently to what we expect. He did just that by taking Jude home to be with Himself.

As I was drawing back the blinds at dawn, 6.30am, Thursday 2nd September 2021, Jude took her last breath and was immediately ushered by angels into the presence of Her LORD and made whole.

A few days later I received a letter from a friend in Glasgow;

“I had gone to bed Thursday evening praying for Jude and when I woke early Friday morning, I was praying for her and had a sense of angels in the corner of her room. I was aware of two, but I think they were in each corner and they were blowing trumpets. My sense was that they were heralding Jude into The King’s presence. I wasn’t sure if that had happened or something still to happen, but it was very real. I can’t be sure of what time it was.” PF

To God be the glory great things He has done.

Prayer

Father, we can say for sure that our times are in your hands.

When it comes to our time to be with you, you are neither early or late, You are always on time.

Help us to accept that in our circumstances you have the right to do things differently and to grasp that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to them that are called according to His purposes.

It’s times like these we are on Holy ground and words are few. I pray that others in similar situations would know the comfort & peace of God in a very real way.

Absent from the body, present with The LORD…….what a joy !!

In Jesus’ Name, Amen
